The project history
Lets face it, “Is it because I’m green” has been a pain in the arse since I created it in 2005. It was first made as a filming experiment, but the original video is no longer available to view for a number of reasons (the main one being, I hate it).
But in 2007, instead of quitting like any sane person would, I decided I had to improve on the abomination I had created because I had grown attached to my concept and characters and I wanted to play around with them some more… So, the idea for series 2 was conceived…
I was much happier making series 2 since the quality of filming and editing was much higher than series 1 and a lot of other popular machinema out there.
Unfortunately however, series 2 did not last for the promised 12 episodes because as much as I enjoyed making it… it was a lengthy process and I just didn’t have time to do it. (You can still watch the 5 episodes I did finish by clicking the link on the side)
But, still determined to get the story of Cozmo out there, I have decided to turn it into a less time consuming comic… starting from scratch… with a new and improved series 1…
Series 1 (coming autumn 2009)
Being home schooled by his hippy Scientist farther, Cozmo has never been to public school before, making him socially retarded as well as green… which doesn’t really help his credibility.
Series 1 is based around Cozmo’s troubled school life and how he deals with it as things progressively get worse.
Series 2 (coming summer 2010)
Having had quite a traumatic experience in public education, Cozmo tucks back into his shell and is once again home schooled… until he is visited by a stranger in a dream and convinced to go to university…
Series 2 is based around Cozmo trying to understand why his life is such a misery and follows his adventures as he uncovers his life’s big mystery.
