Its been way too long since i last posted, and for those of you who care, i’m sorry… i’m sure you have lost intrest in the IIBIG project by now and rightly so because of my lack of updates… fortunately i have not given up. IIBIG will be coming once i get uni out of the way, still in the form of a comic.

to anyone who has been reading “virtually Reality” then you may have noticed production on that has come to a halt also. this is due to the fact i dont have time to even play the sims 3… let alone right about my adventures in it.

so whats happening in the future?

in about 3 days the name virtually reality will be stolen from its use as a blog story and will become the name of my new sims casual community as part of the Survivors Diary gaming community. by casual community, i mean sims community for people who play for fun or use it as a tool to create videos for fun. “Is It Because I’m Green?” as well as a future comic idea, will be produced through this community, so this and virtually reality will both be moved and will become inaccessible from its current site. if you’re still interested in following this project, or you want to join the casual sims community then you can sign up here http://www.supacomm.net/survivorsdiary/forum/index.php the community is mainly based on L4D/L4D2 but we play a variety of games and have just opened a TF2 community.

Sorry its been a while. i have been working on starting my coursework for my last year of university and i’ve also been writing up the is it because i’m green scripts. in comic form, i hope to make series 1 far better than it was in film… then i can finish series 2.

i havent added to “Virtually reallity” for a while because of this work stuff, but i’ll get back on that as soon as possable.

I have finally unleashed the Sims 3 Blog “Virtually Reality” upon the world! follow the unpredictable life of sim, Addie Ellis through her eyes. this will be released every Friday.

in other news, as you probably know… I’m back!… i have been working on the script over the past few days and once i get over the hill of the first episode I’ll reach the peak of the hill… then its all down hill from there!… wait… that isn’t how i meant that to sound… i mean it will be easier to write the rest… well it wont really but i like to delude myself into thinking otherwise, its a little unhealthy really.

i wont keep you from your gaming lives anylonger…

The Team is back

After a nice three week break its back to work time!
now i can start to release virtually reality, and finish the script development for is it because I’m green to hopefully get you some series 1 comics before i go back to university.

this year is my last yearof university so its a big busy one… i will try my best to get series 1 to you ASAP… and if all doesn’t go to plan, there will be virtually reality for you to enjoy in the mean time.

once i get my bearings back after getting used to having solid walls surrounding me again, there should be more useful updates on the project… so stay tuned for those. but in the mean time, have a cool summer Holiday and i hope you keep checking up on my progress.

Every game has its campers…

So yes! as mentioned in my last post, i will be departing with my Supacomix comrades to go camping and to finally get away from work for three weeks. undoubtedly there will be a little Cozmo following me around the whole time, telling me to finish all the script writing… because well, i can never stop thinking about this project.

Cozmo Judges my hoilday...

since my last post i have worked a considerable amount more, Although i have been playing the staring game with the story line… i decided to just go ahead and get stuck in with the script and hope the story just falls right into place… and hey… it also has a robot in it!… can i make servos into vampires or werewolves?… that would be cool (not for the script but just in general… i would like an army of robot zombies)

As for “Virtually Reality”… well i didn’t want to release the first blog the day i leave for three weeks… since that will be a blog i want to update at least weekly. so yeah, expect that in three weeks!

The Product of the off shore Alien breeding facility.

the about section has been updated with all its informational information, and as soon as i get the screen shots sorted it will look nice too. i have also updated the top banner so it features some of the character changes and some of the series two characters as well. expect that to change again soon as the series develops.

well, you might be saying… yeah thanks… but its not quite what we wanted… how about some COMICS any time soon? but, as far as actually producing any new content for the website goes, i am still working on it. As any Alien hating SIMer will know you cant make them look how you want, you have to breed them and since the last blog that is what i have been doing… breeding Alien after Alien in a little alien breeding farm i have in offshore Sims-dale… fortunately after about 20 Cozmos and 50 Cozminas i finally found… that this is going to take forever!… so i caved in a downloaded this bad boy: The mod that allows teen sims to use the cosmetic face thingy (that’s not what its called… but its what it does)

I also had to breed a green puppy… that wasn’t too hard. Making the servo is the real annoyance. so yeah, i have been set building, Alien Breeding, Dog Breeding, Servo building and script writing over the past few weeks. though it has been fun.

One In The Works

I have been working on the new and improved series 1 over the past few weeks. with new architecture to all the buildings, loads of new characters and an actual story line, the new series 1 will be far better than the last one.

the scripts have yet to be written, so i don’t know exactly how many episodes there will be. But, i am going to complete all the episodes before i start to release them so i can keep releasing them to a schedule… since that was my major failure with the video series.

in the next few days i will release more details on the new story for series 1, along with pictures of new charicters and sets: which will be archived in the about section.

On a small note: i have also caved in and purchased the Sims 3, so i will be doing a mini story blog based on my adventures in that, called “Virtually Reality”. This will be along side the Sims 2 based comic of “is it because I’m green”. this is just for fun and also to experiment with the story telling ability of the game for future reference, so stay tuned for that.

Back From The Dead

If you follow Cozmo and his adventures on a regular basis you may have noticed that things have started to get a little active again… its okay… don’t be afraid…

Many of you probably thought that this project was dead… but really it has just been in a coma… and then died… BUT like the phoenix, Jesus and David Blaine… it has risen to life once again!

But now, after months in the dusty folder labelled “Optimistic Denial of failure”… things have changed and the “Is It Because I’m green?” you once knew is gone (unless you click the videos link on the side bar) Now what remains is a project wise to its own failures… and ready to make a hell of a lot more! Say hello to… … another web Comic! Hurrah!

Although I do love Filming and I am proud of my Sims2 film productions… I don’t think I can or do get the audio quality I want and therefore I am never happy with the final edit. I will make Machinima in the Sims 2 again some time but for now I want to tell a story… a story about a young green boy and his quest for knowledge! So sorry to anyone who enjoyed my Machinima… but it’s your own fault you didn’t encourage me enough with your nice happy complements…

But in any case acting is a harsh bitch mistress that loves you like chocolate until you mess one line up… then everything becomes a messy break up where you wonder why you married such a whore in the first place because you knew she would end up sleeping with all your best friends…So yeah actors are hard to come by most of the time… doing a comic will be a relief from that. Then all I’ll have to deal with is writers block and obnoxious Sims…

That being said, series one didn’t have voice actors… but that wasn’t so much a series but a film I had to cut up. I have never really been happy with those little clips…

So yeah, the comic will be starting from series one and this time I will give it a real story to go with series 2. The series 2 comic will follow the same story episodes as the videos with some script adjustments.

Since I’m now working on my own time without having to rely on anyone else… I cant blame anyone… (Shit what am I doing?)… errr yeah… I mean I don’t have to rely anyone else but nick… so this means more frequent releases… (Where have I heard that before?)…. I really mean it this time… I swear

All videos will still be available to watch as always!. Apart for series 1 since that hasn’t been available for a long time.

Welcome to the new style Is It Because I’m Green? website, as you can see the site isnt fully working yet, so please bare with us as we makes our final touches. All the current videos can still be found on youtube on the SupaComix Channel.

Once the website is compleate i will make a post about the changes to the project, as promised.
