Survivors return

i hope everyone had a happy new year, me and nick know we did after spending new years eve/day playing L4D… they were very awesome games and we met some even more new and intresting people. more on that in the next show… THATS right, the next show. the pod cast will be returning on the 12th of january. i’m sorry we couldn’t start again sooner but thats the way it goes sometimes

when we return we shall be looking at the survivors individualy in our features, there will also be more tactics, sujestions, glitches, community and hopefuly more maps for us to have a play on

not only that, but the promotional video has been finshed.

Promo

Even though we’re taking a seasonal break from our podcast to make good use of our yuletide awesomness and our time off from uni , i have been working on a promotional video.
this is going to… well… promote the podcast on various video streaming websites.
basicly this means i dont get as much of a break as nick does, because making this video to my standards is not as easy as it sounds… (since i can never meet my own standards because they’re just too high! lmao)… i’m not trying to sound magical or anything, i just love making things as hard for myself as possable.
anyway, about the video. its basicaly going to be a mix of smoothed left 4 dead footage with a load of game play thrown in as well. i still havent quite settled on a song for it yet, so if anyone has any good sujestions for an awesome zombie-pocolypse theme then throw it this way … please
other than that, not much else to tell you about the diary… video should be out soon. hopefuly we’ll get up a list of things that have been happening in the community during our away period and also what the next podcast will be about… OH and when its out too…

Bandwith Exceeded

Hey everyone, if you came to the website and where greeted by a Bandwidth exceeded error this is becuase there are loads of people visiting this website and thus we had to fork out a bit of money to upgrade the website.

Still episode 6, is coming on monday and we have a new theme and forum coming soon so stay tuned.

Hosting and iTunes

Hey everyone. Some of you may have noticed that Episodes 1 and 2 had previously been hosted via gcast. Now we have been graciously given some freespace at left4deadfiles.com so that we can host the podcasts there.

At first i was hosting them on this website but i almost filled our freespace quota and thus had to find alternate hosting places. But thanks to Alan we now have an excellent place to host the files and now all of the episodes have been updated with the new hosting place.

Also we have been updating the gcast.com episodes as they provide us with an itunes feed. Meaning that if you have itunes you can download the new episodes automatically via iTunes. If you have itunes just click the link in the top right part of the website and you can be subscribed to it.

We would like to thank everyone whose been listening to our episodes and to Alan for the hosting. When soul has finished with her assessments for uni we will be working on the new design for the website and the forum and then you can get signed up to that too and get chatting.

Episode 6 will be coming monday…

We have moved

Welcome everyone to the new location of the survivors diary. After the last one got over-run by the infected we needed some evac and that legendary chicago ted was around to kill zombies and give us a hand getting out. Unfourtuntley due to the complexity of the WordPress database structure we were unable to sucessfully copy everything over. I managed to save the posts but the user accounts are a lost cause. So if you had an account please sign up again as your login will no longer work.

The website is going to be facing some extra changes including a forum as well as a new look which we are working on at the moment.

I am still moving things over like links and such so please bare with us for the moment. Also some of the pages are out of date but they will also be updated.

Anywho more about this in the next episode of the show.

Survivors Diary Episode 2

Right then sorry about the late coming of this podcast but we have been busy here, i have been having trouble sleeping and i have a lot of uni and work work to do so not a lot of time has been dedicated to it this week. Beings as we recorded it on monday and although we did it last time we didn’t have as much time to deal with it as we did last week. But the next one will be recorded on friday and a new one will be out after that.

The Survivors Diary is undergoing some major changes as well, as you may have noticed a lot of the post categories have been removed and stuffed into archive. This is becuase we are working primarily on being a podcast rather than a blog and so most of our posts will be to do with the podcast. Which we are hoping will be weekly on Mondays but that is subject to change, busy schedules and zombie attacks.
